Kjell Gustafson's homepage
I have now entered the group of people who have left a working life behind them, which means that I am now a pensioner.
During the last 22 years of my working life I worked as a linguist and phonetician in Stockholm, Sweden, and before that in various colleges and universities in England and Norway.
Between 1990 and April 2012 I worked at
Acapela Group Sweden AB, developing languages for the Acapela and Infovox text-to-speech synthesizers. Between 1990 and 2010 I also I worked as a linguist and phonetician in the Speech Group at the Department of Speech, Music and Hearing (TMH) at KTH (Royal Institute of Technology). My work has mainly been focused on the intersection of phonetics, mainly prosody, and speech synthesis, with special emphasis on Swedish.
